I had been staying Pink House few week ago,but place is far from main town,down the hill and it is hard walk up the hill.
What the guys who run the place,keep trying to sell you tours,they sell anything to you,sometimes it is more then too much.

I stayed there for one night, and a friend stayed there for 3 nights during which I visited (as I was a white female travelling with an Indian male, we were not allowed to check in there, which is fairly common in Mumbai it seems...).

During my recent visit(Sept 2009) to Jaisalmer I stayed at Shahi Palace for 3 days and enjoyed every bit of it. On Mr Dev's recommendation I also undertook a Camel Safari to a "non-touristic" location away from crowd and enjoyed it thoroughly.
