Three story guesthouse on a quiet lane just off one of the main roads in Fort Cochin. Pleasant rooftop restaurant, narrow balcony runs aroung the length of the building but is not accesible from the rooms. Very clean, spacious rooms. I haven't been in India long but a couple of people who had said for the price this was one of the best places they'd stayed. Owner Antony is very nice and accomodating as is his family. If you're lucky you'll be there on a night when they prepare Briyani which was fantastic. Only dislike was the ceiling fan which made it sound as though I were sleeping under a deisel truck. Pair of earplugs or head phone though and you're in for a comfortable nights rest. There's a tv in one of the hallways, phone at the innkeepers desk. I paid 200rps a night for a single, but the bed was really a double.

I tried this place on the recommendation I read here on the site and I'm glad that I did. The couple who run the place are so nice, educated and welcoming. Quite simple, basic room but the hosts do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable.
They arranged a fantastic private tour guide to take us out to Aluva for Shivaratri, and when my sister was sick while we were gone, they looked after her like she was their own daughter. It was very touching.
