This is a gorgeous serene small hotel set in beautiful gardens. There is a great pool and the rooms are very attractively decorated. We opted for the suite which consisted of an enormous room (plenty of room for our 5 year olds extra bed) and an enormous bathroom. Outside the room was a lovely day bed on the veranda. There is no power for a number of hours during the day and a limited amount of hot water but this hotel is great value and a truely lovely place to stay. The website does not do it justice. When you arrive check out a few different room first if possible. The first one we were allocated was a bit dark and stuffy and the thrird room we were shown was much nicer than the previous 2!. This place looks pretty good in wide angle photos and at first glance. But when I settled into my room I found that a fair bit of filth lurked in the corners. Devil is in the details.

Agree with all the other comments, it is a beautiful and peaceful place far removed from the hustle and bustle of Jodhpur. We had a car and driver and stayed for 3 nights in November 2007 so didn't find the distance a problem, but it might be aggravating if one needs to negotiate with rickshaw drivers for each journey.

This is a lovely hotel, probably the best we stayed in in India. It's very peaceful and the gardens are beautiful. It is a bit out of the way, which is ok if you don't get overcharged by autorickshaws! The garden rooms are the best value at 850 rps.
