We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. From the moment we arrived we were looked after. A jeep collected us from the train station and we had access to the jeep for the duration of the stay - it is located about 10 mins walk from the fort along a dark road which isnt so great for walking at night. The room ... read more »

We arranged our hotel booking using the reviews on the internet to help us and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. We were a party of 11 with 3 young children and I had a great deal of email contact with Om before we made the booking. He very kindly and patiently answered all my questions to ensure that all ... read more »

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel during Christmas 2008. The hotel actually is just like it looks on the website. Very pretty. Also clean, every staff is friendly and efficient, the owners always asked us if everything was OK, taught me how much to bargain in the shops. We spent a lot of time in their roof top restaurant, eating ... read more »
When we arrived in Jaisalmer

When we arrived in Jaisalmer, we were quickly picked up and transported to the hotel. It's located a little bit out of town in a quiet countryside but still close enough for us to walk to the fort. We were given a double room on the upper floor with a fort view as promised at time of reservation for Rs1450 with breakfast. There ... read more »

Once again I second all the comments above, although the place is only 7 years old it looks like its been there for hundreds of years - yet is clean and sparkling because it is new. So friendly and welcoming, they treated our son like a little brother and really made us feel at home. I will definitely go back to Fifu.... We ... read more »

We loved our stay at Fifu. It's about 10 - 15 mins from the fort so it's quiet, peaceful and has lovely views of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. Great Chai too! ... read more »

This was my second stay at the Fifu guest house. The hosts, Fifu and Jitu, are lovely people and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are gorgeous - simply but beautifully furnished with spotlessly clean modern bathrooms. The rooftop terrace offers excellent food and fantastic views of the fort. I honestly ... read more »

I stayed here in October 2007 and would highly recommend this guest house. The 2 brothers Fifu and Jitu are very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. The food and view from the rooftop is beautiful and it's the kind of place where you can put your feet up...relax and look at the view...rating this place from 1 to 10...I'd ... read more »

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fifu. The friendliness of the staff was well received as upon our arrival, Fifu (the owner) gave us a tour of the hotel then invited us for complimentsary bevarages on the rooftop in order for us to talk and get to know each other a bit. This was nice for settling in to Jaisalmer and gauging ... read more »

Stayed here in March 2006. We had a great time here. The family and staff (Ashok) that runs it are extremely friendly and nice. The food is good and goes well with the cool rooftop view of the fort. Jaisalmer is small enough that being on the fringe of town is not a problem and in fact I think is an advantage. The room we ... read more »
