Situated on Station road, 2 minutes from the train station and directly opposite the train reservation office. Clean and cheap rooms with attached shower and toilet and cable TV. The food in the roof-top restuarant is the best i have tasted in India and is very cheap. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Likes -. Rooftop restuarant - the food is delicious and very cheap. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Location - close to train station and 10 mins walking to watchtower. Dislikes. None. Nice, good value hotel with very helpful owner, conveniently located for the station. Good rooftop restaurant, which is a good place to wait for late trains and buses. I paid 700Rs for an A/C double, and larger rooms for three people looked particularly good. ... read more »

The Govind Hotel definetly has a good location if you do not wish to stay in the old city. It is a quick walk about 750 metres from the train station. We paid Rs800 for one night in an AC room. No views to speak of from the room, and the pink and green paint on the walls was interesting. The rooftop restaurant was okay, and cheap. Internet access easily available downstairs. Very close to the train station, although quite a distance from the fort. ... read more »

the hotel was good, the staff helpful and kind, the food was also good, and When we arrived we went to the hotel, found it with no difficulty.
