Very friendly, family run haveli-style hotel with great swimming pool. An oasis of peace and calm and an ideal place to chill out, (it's opposite a park so often several degrees cooler than other locations),specially if you've had a hectic schedule. Likes:ambiance, friendly atmosphere. dislikes: none really but Tommy the hotel tortoise might fancy a nibble of your toes if you are dining on thelawn!. hot showers, TV, swimming pool, telephone;some rooms have AC. We stayed here on 28feb to 3 mar 2009.Near palace ,so walked first day and had boat ride and really loved our stay here.Best stay for my whole trip. staff helpful came early at 8.00am but got nice suite untill my room was ready and price we paid was 1200 rupees which was worth every penny.I wish had more time to stay there ... read more »

Spent 2 days there and it was one of the most pleasant experience in India :-) We have a big room with AC and very good bathroom, and it was very well furnished in Rajasthani style, big window with coloured glasses and even a ottoman in niche at the windows :) (it's driven me crasy - I love this style!!!) ... read more »

One of the best value hotels in Rajasthan! Only 300R for large, clean pretty double with ensuite. Great pool in yard, lovely eating area for breakfast and pet turtles out the back - very cute! Some members of staff are very friendly and helpful, others are perhaps a little creepy (from a single female point of view). But overall ... read more »

We spent a few nights here in November 05. It was one of the nicest places we stayed during our two months in India. A great location - quite quiet, but only a short walk to the palace/lake. We have stayed there twice and agree that its brilliant! Really friendly, helpful, clean, etc. The swimming pool is crystal clear and there are lovely lawns for sunbathing. We had a super room with a sort of indoor balcony with cushions to lounge on, and stained glass. All very luxurios for a very reasonable price! ... read more »
