close to the train station so its great if you dont have the energy to walk far. rooms are basic but clean, staff are friendly. warning though the cottages share a wall with another hotel kitchen so sometimes the clanging of pots and pans at 11 pm can keep you out of your sleep. the owners have cats (the thinest I have ever seen) but they are well behaved and best left to do their catty thing. plenty of shops around and a 24hr internet cafe across next to the station. hot water bucket , tv in some depends , about rs. 50 extra if you want one Hotel National Pune Rates and Room Information

Stayed here Easter 2009 as a solo female traveller. Owner suggested I stayed in a room in the hotel rather than the cottages as he said it was safer for women! Had a nice, clean room with shower, fan & TV overlooking the garden: single 750 & double 850...it seemed anywhere you wanted to go such as the Osho ashram cost 30 rupees. ... read more »

We stayed there for a night in jan/08, payed 624 inc. taxes for a cottage for two, although we were given a 4'ple one. There is a bathroom with a shower (hot water)and toiled attached, but the actual shower did not work in our room. Not a problem for me, as there was a bucket with a jug, but might bother someone else. ... read more »
