If you just need to get in + get out, this place is fine. The rooms are of decent quality, it all gets the job done. The staff was nice as well. Also, the location is very good for tourists. This hotel is in a very useful location for Egmore Station and anywhere that connects onto the suburban rail service. We stayed in a non-AC room at the back that overlooked a small park, which meant the room was completely free from traffic noise.

Stayed in the Pandian for a few days in november 05, i felt safe here (single female), it was close to egmore railway station, kennet lane can be difficult to negotiate especially after heavy rain. Rooms were reasonable, service was polite. don't eat at their restaurant, head down the lane and eat at Saravana Bhavan ... read more »
