hotel, quite plush, marble lobby with excellent food and room service at v good prices, only problem is you won't ever want 2 step out the door!. only problem is taxi drivers neve seemed 2 know where it was but always got there eventually!. spotlessly clean, cable tv, telephone , 24-7 hot water and a/c Hotel Residency Mumbai (Bombay) Rates and Room Information

An excellent place to unwind from a long overseas journey. After six weeks of traveling in S India, the Residency still wins the prize for most comfy beds and I would have hated to spend my first night in some of the beds I've spent subsequent nights. Stayed at this hotel for a total of 6 nights in March 2004. Hotel is spotless even by western standards.
If you have a problem with the taxi drivers not knowing where it is.... direct the to VT and advise..... 'citi bank kai baas'..... they will take u to citi bank and its on the same corner! ... read more »

Stayed there in January this year.....great hotel, quite plush, very nice lobby with internet access and restaurant. Wonderful thick, fluffy doona's on the VERY comfortable beds, tasteful decor, very clean...just lovely and the staff are great too.
