Hotel White is walking distance to the heart of The Mall. It is clean and safe with a very friendly staff.. It doesn't have its own restaurant, but you can pre-order a simple breakfast the night before and it will be brought to your room. Stayed there at the end of October. We had a little trouble finding it (the LP's map is not that good). The rooms are really clean, we had 24 hr hot water and the room service food wasnt bad.
The only negative is one of the staff (Kissore) was really pushy about taking a taxi tour of the hot springs near Shimla (none of the ... read more »
