Expensive, honeymoon-couple sort of place located inside the sanctuary – 11km from the entrance. Nice rooms of course, you're certainly paying the price for them: a double room costs Rs.1500/1600 a night. A good breakfast spread and decent dinner buffet included in the price. A cheaper option is the Forest Rest House, where a double is Rs.750 a night but for food you're at the mercy of the caretaker who when we were there wanted Rs.500 for 2 people for a day's three meals. Sundar is a Nature Guide at Binsar who lives in one of the villages (forget the name) inside the sanctuary 3 km from the KMVN - he's built 2 rooms as sort of home-stay options, we spent one night here, Rs.500 a person including all meals, sort of steep for the basicness of the room, but if the KMVN and Forest Rest House prove too expensive for you you can head here.
