I stayed there for one night, and a friend stayed there for 3 nights during which I visited (as I was a white female travelling with an Indian male, we were not allowed to check in there, which is fairly common in Mumbai it seems...).

Corinthians Club is part athletic club and part hotel. I stayed at Corinthians a couple years ago, and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are large and clean. It's a newer hotel, and fairly priced. We stayed in the Lemon Tree hotel in April 2009. Overall I liked it very much. The hotel is nicely decorated (it is fairly new), the rooms looked very nice and everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpfull.

This is a well-appointed hotel walking distance (15 min) from Gate of India and 10 min. from the shops on Colaba. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are small, but well designed. Stayed here Easter 2009 as a solo female traveller. Owner suggested I stayed in a room in the hotel rather than the cottages as he said it was safer for women!
