Martha's is a really friendly family run guesthouse with about 20 rooms i think. It's clean quite quiet (except for the cockerel) and really comfortable too. Nothing to dislike, did i tell you the breakfasts are great!. T.V room, laundry done on request, hot showers, telephone, computer, excellent breakfasts (from english to toast and marmalade/marmite-wahay!), all rooms on balcony. I think it was about 600 rupees per week peak season 400 low (admin note-Rates vary according to the Season) Rooms are between Rs. 600-750 Cottages are between Rs. 800-1,000

Just spent a week at Martha's this January - I had been before for the breakfasts many times but wanted to stay there and did not regret it at all. They will do airport pick ups, and the best breakfasts in Anjuna if not Goa.

I just wanted to mention that the listed price is quite a bit off, at least for peak season--or rather the "peakest" season of all, Xmas/New Years. Martha emailed me back saying that for couples the cost is 700 rupees a night. I'm wondering if that is pretty standard for Arjuna during that season? ... read more »
