Great hotel in a traditional Rajasthani Haveli style - new and very clean. Run by outstanding staff who are always polite, helpful and fun. I have stayed here twice and love staying - I have visted Udaipur 4 times and would not stay anywhere else. It is also very affordable and includes beautiful touches - Rajasthani moghul murals, mirror work, little alcoves, gorgeous soft furnishings - truely a beautiful place to stay - and with views. An added bonus is the restaurants - a roof top open air, and an under-cover, both offering fantastic tasty food, with the priceless Udaipur views - the Lake and mountains - absolutely wonderful. Stayed here for 4 nights, couldnt really fault it, room had great view and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is pure veg so didnt eat much there. Also kept getting rat poo on bathroom floor i suspect coming from small hole in ceiling around a pipe. staff did try and sort but didnt work. other than that hotel ... read more »

We stayed here in July 2008. This is a beautiful haveli. Very well kept and clean. The restaurant has beautiful views on the lake. The staff is also very friendly. One (very small) negative point maybe, is that the staff (especially in the restaurant) was very 'present', which causes the rooftop to have a bit less relaxing atmosphere ... read more »
