Very well situated - in a quiet street, but just around the corner there are everything the traveller needs include a good cafe, internet and money changing facilities. There are some newer rooms and older ones - we'd the older and it was clean simple small room with private bathroom (bucked hot water, but as I know - in the new rooms there are a hot water), AC and TV. All the stuff was very helpful, they offer money changing, express laundry, taxi arrangement (their prices for taxi to Kanchipuram-Mamallapuram-Pondi was much cheaper than in travel agencies - I had visited 3 of them before I chose the hotel's offer). cable TV, Intercon, express laundry, money changer, vehicle Parkong facility Paradise Guest House Chennai (Madras) Rates and Room Information

This was our 3rd stay at Paradise and we will not be going back unless we are desperate for a room. The noise, dust, lack of consideration by management & staff with no apologies for late night noise by tradespeople cooking in the new room additions was enough to send us to another hotel close-by. Arrived 2am 25 Oct 2008 and room still held for us after boooking by phone from Singapore. This is plus, imho! Paid 350r's for fan double room, cold water in attached bathroom, bed comfy but fell off mattress as it was too big for base and ended up on floor on my bum! Bit of a shock really! One of the best value for money hotels I've stayed in. 200/250 for a clean single with TV and bathroom. Very friendly and decent staff. They have designed the place to allow for good air ventilation, which means the hotel is kept fairly cool in the baking summer.
