My only issue would be the breakfast. If you were staying for longer than one day, it would get pretty tedious having the same thing everyday.
The room was a delight althought the linen on the bed smelled awful. I put that down to the rain and being unable to dry things quickly.

excellent place to stay and, like crajguru says, 'a destination in itself' and worth every penny.
an added bonus was the absolutely fantastic laundry service - stuff is finished and in your room the next morning, it's washed in a machine (that was a first in months for me!), beautifully ironed and just generally wonderful. ... read more »

Staying here was one of the highlights of the trip. We loved this change from "hotel room as a place to sleep" to "hotel as a place you enjoy being in, a destination in itself". Excellent breakfast.
