Beautiful ancestral haveli with a courtyard and wonderful owners make this an affordable heritage option. Not close to anything but not too far either. Relatively unknown by rickshaw wallahs. Arriving at the end of our trip with Namaste India Tours we didn't know which hotel in Jodhpur we'd end up in. I was so glad when we arrived at the Ratan Vilas as I'd read favourable reviews of the place.

Had a good stay here
Stayed here for one night in early January 2005. I would stay here again.
The owner sits around, which some people like because it shows his personal involvement (some people also spend time chatting with him). I thought he looked kinda grumpy, especially with this frown, but I didn't get a chance to ... read more »
