This was the worst hotel we stayed...

Positives: Great Location, garden
Negatives: Everything else. Filthy rooms like prison cells.

This was the worst hotel we stayed at in India, although to be fair it was by far the cheapest (500 rupees per night). The pro's are its position close to the Taj Mahal, its garden and the nice restaurant and its staff. The cons are the rooms - like prison cells, very dirty, freezing cold (it was mid December) and indifferent reception staff. We used the toilet but tried to avoid any other use of the bathroom. There was no hot water and the basin was filthy. I would avoid at all costs - I'm sure there are better hotels in this price bracket.
