I stayed here for a couple of nights...
Overall:
Staff:
Positives: Nice Restaurant, Hot Showers.
Negatives: Dingy, damp rooms with truly stomach-churning sheets on the beds.
I stayed here for a couple of nights in March 2006. I had a double room with attached bathroom. It was meant to be Rs. 300 but I got it for Rs. 250 at a single occupancy rate. It was still overpriced, in my opinion - the room was very damp and miserable and the bedsheets looked like someone had ... I'll leave it to your imagination. It wasn't pretty. I'm no shrinking violet - I'll put up with grungy beds and a crappy room if it's Rs. 100 or so but for Rs. 250/300 you normally get a bit of cleanliness. On the positive side, the constant hot shower was really good and the restaurant was a friendly place to meet other guests with good, cheap food. The guy that runs the place, Alex, is friendly and helpful, too. It's just a pity about the state of the rooms, really.
