Positives: Very nice staff. Excellent restaurant (unheated, though).
Negatives: Construction noise starting at 8am. But it is difficult to avoid construction noise in Gangtok. Otherwise quiet.
Looked at 7 other hotels in Gangtok before choosing this one. It was the nicest of those willing to give us a double room for 700 rupees. A bit hard to find--you go up, up, up Tibet road from the main market. Their vegetable momo is delicious; the curries are good too.:)
