Positives: Excellent staff, great food, fantastic room with lots of hot water

We stayed at this great hotel for 4 nights in late November 2007 and I cannot say enough great things about the whole experience. We had a fantastic room with lots of hot water all day long and wonderful airconditioning. Best of all the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us and there was no soliciting for tips. We were happy to leave a general tip when we departed. We ate both breakfast (included in the rate) as well as dinner each day. The menu was extensive and the staff were more than happy to meet any special requests. They organised a mini Birthday Party for my husband and especially purchased and cooked a delicious lobster and seafood platter. They even organised a birthday cake. The laundry service was very good and efficient. Best of all no service charges were added to the extra requests or the laundry. The swimming pool was a welcome relief and was also very clean as was the whole property. Other guests were of the 'low key' variety - no bus groups and friendships were made. The staff also spoke highly of the owner which I believe is a good sign of a happy hotel. Highly recommended for some great food, location (2 minutes walk from beach)and an overall wonderful place to relax.
