i would recommend this place, but with a small insight.
i stayed there in january 08 for 3 nights. i was on the 3rd floor(the top). i rang ahead while i was in goa. the rooms were Rs.700 on the phone. when i got there, after a struggle to find it, the rooms were Rs.900. i persisted and got mine for Rs.750. they are small, 2 single beds, indian shower, indian toilets in the hall. i found it ok. if the price was less, than i would have been happy. but it is in mumbai - an expensive place by indian standards
