Found this in the LP book. The description must be a little dated however as we found the place quite filthy and oddly run. The manager was certain friendly enough however there was an odd level of confusion in finding a room for us. That is he grabed a handful of keys and started opening doors. Behind some of the doors were people doing contruction or rooms obviously already rented and he seemed surprised at what he found.
This didn't impress us with the security at all!
After we accepted a room we realized that there were a few problems and I had to pay someone 50Rs to get things fixed in a timely manner. The worst problem being pillows there were absolutely unacceptably - heath hazard - dirty. Worst in India frankly.
The atmosphere of the place was very much like a men's dormitory and my wife did not feel particularly comfortable. Frequently lights in the stairs were out creating a sort of shadowy situation both dangerous and creepy.
The restaurant is pretty good though. Unfortunately it is more of a bar atmosphere and again left my wife feeling unhappy in the alcohol, cigarette smoke filled place.
We stayed 1 night and switched hotels.
I would not recommend to stay here, but you might consider the restaurant if you are a smoker or smoke doesn't bother you.
