Positives: Good location, good price, nice quality rooms

I went to check out many of the budget hotels near the Golden Temple, and they are pretty run down. This one is not, it feels nearly new, and still the price is reasonable (I think I paid Rs 400 for a double). They also have very large family rooms, and I think they have room service, tho I didn't use it. They also have an interesting modern water heating system in each room that basically heats the water as it passes through the pipe, so you can have hot water anytime, without waiting. If I go to Amritsar again, I'll likely stay at the Golden Temple itself, but next to that I'd definitely stay here.
