Not-too-grotty budget option in Colaba. 3 floors of double rooms at 450 a night. Windowless rooms that are basic but have their own shower. Massive, fast fan keeps the room cool.

Likes: 450 a night's not too bad for Mumbai. It's handy for Colaba Causeway, Gateway To India etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Recommended me a great place for a Thali (Madras Cafe).

Dislikes: Bit noisy at night. Other guests slamming their doors will probably wake you up a few times. Room's a bit grubby, but I've seen worse. Same goes for the toilets. 'Dawn Chorus' of people clearing their throats and spitting is amusingly revolting.
