The New Woodlands offers large, clean, and as important - brightly lit rooms in excellent surroundings in a good, central location. Prices are really low compared to other Tier-1 cities. I also checked the Nilgiri Nest and Maris opposite, and the Sangeetha Residency close by. New Woodlands was far superior for more or less the same price range. Only pure vegetarian food is served. We had breakfast which is included. The buffet was excellent the first day but so-so the next. Morning coffee was good and strong, Madras style. The front desk staff are not particularly helpful but the restaurant and housekeeping are very courteous. Families and groups can stay in their well laid out cottages, rather than in doubles, which work out very well price and space wise. I would definitely stay there again.
