Good Hotel in the center of the city

I was at this hotel for one night with my friends, because it was extremely late at night and I didn't want to wake up my folks, and also because I was not exactly in the "right" state of mind to go home. The room had clean beds and good air conditioning with a flat screen TV. The staff was friendly, and kept to their own space. I remember the tariff came to be ~4,000 INR, give or take a few hundred; paid the bill with my Bank of America Visa without any problems. Since it was already around 11:30 when we woke up we decided to have lunch there , so we went down to the lunch buffet at around noon and were expecting a pretty good lunch because the restaurant was fairly full; but we were certainly disappointed. The food was bland and not tasteful whatsoever, and the bill came out to be around ~1300 INR with gratuity and taxes for three people.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone, since it is in the center of the city with easy access to a lot of shopping malls and cinemas, but do keep in mind it is a “star” hotel and is definitely not for the budget traveler. I’d highly suggest one find somewhere else to eat other than the restaurant at Green Park, the lunch buffet at ITC Kakatiya (formerly The Grand Kakatiya) which is only 1.5km away is easily superior to the food found at Green Park (in taste and quality.)
