Perfectly acceptable mid range hotel with adequate facilities including wifi in the lobby. The restaurant is both reasonable quality and acceptable value for money and it even had a wine list of nearly acceptable wines which had not deteriorated because of poor storage, quite a plus for my wife. The location is ideal for museums including Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (National Museum of Mankind) which are located in the Shamla Hills above the hotel. The area where the hotel is located is a leafy suburb and the views over the lake are superb. We stayed there over the Christmas period in 2007 and the only negative was a very noisy disco/private party with a DJ whose taste in music left a lot to be desired. Nothing outstanding but a very solid and dependable choice, an excellent middle of the road hotel. The lurid cakes in the coffee shop seemed very popular. The hotel was very clean, and had the facilities one would expect for the price charged. I suspect discounts are available should one ring ahead and negotiate a tariff. The online booking system worked.
