Schizophrenic Stay

While the room was very nice, I hated the lazy, lying staff in this place.
When I booked it online, they advised that the cheapest rooms were no longer available, yet they had some when we arrived. The power was out and so was the elevator and the bellhops refused to bring our luggage up the stairs until I had made three trips downstairs from the 4th floor to complain. The room they had given us was on the right hand side of the hotel (facing the hotel from the street). Extremely noisy street outside; when I asked for a room change (the LH side has no street below), I was told no rooms were available. When I asked for a refund, miraculously a room appeared on the LH side. There were problems with the a/c, which barely works when the generator is on. The elevator does not work during a power outage. The beds were extremely comfy and the shower was large and powerful, though the water never got beyond lukewarm. This place gets great reviews on LP, but I think the reviews on Trip Advisor more reflect my own.
