Positives: Clean and quiet with good facilities.
Negatives: Not in the main Palace.
This is not the Palace hotel itself, but is situated behind the main building with it's own access. The hotel guests do have the option to use the great hotel pool and fitness suite if required. It's about half the price of the Palace also and the staff are polite and professional. The hotel is apparently an old converted boys school, it's all on the ground floor and disabled friendly. I paid around 1100 rupees for single occupancy of a large double in January 2009. A good place to recharge batteries.
