This place is running on the "old Raj" feel of it's rooms. But the rooms are from the Raj era, aka circa 1940's.
The food is not exceptional, indeed, not even average, and it just doesn't reflect the high prices they ask.
The hot water was "broken" always, and the touts were allowed to hang at the gate to hassle you as you exit.
