Positives: Clean, large room, convenient to Taj, easy to find
Negatives: Tepid water, indifferent food
We stayed here in December 08, three people in a triple room which was comfortable, large, and clean. Rupees 1200 for the three of us, I believe. I had booked on line the previous month, received confirmation on line, and they had no record of the booking. Lights failed frequently and hotel goes on to generator power, which is noisy, but I imagine this is a problem for all hotels in the area. Close to the Taj - just walk down the street, 5 minutes max if you walk straight past the touts. The hot water is on limited hours, and sadly was tepid at best even during those hours. Rooftop restaurant has a good view of the Taj, which makes up for indifferent, fatty food. The staff were friendly and helpful, and allowed us to leave luggage and use the downstairs toilet after our checkout time. It was an easy place for our driver to find.
