We stayed at Hibiscus (also known as Haveli on the Lake which was Carol and Babu's previous guest house) in December 2008. It was our favourite place to stay at - restored beautifully, clean and sparkling new. Carol and Babu are lovely and very helpful hosts. The dog is a little bit scary though so if you have a phobia of big dogs I wouldn't choose this place. Great location near Amet Haveli if you want to do morning yoga! Couldn't recommend highly enough - and rates very reasonable! We paid 750rps a night in high season for a basic room with private bathroom.
