Overcharged and unclean and certainly not a good value for money

Last September(2008) I went on a trip to Uttarakhand.I had mostly booked the KMVN Guest Houses in other locations,except we chose the Alka Lake side in Naintal as it looked really good on the website and was located primely.So we didnt hesistated to spend 4500 for the hotel as we thought it to be a 3 Star.However when we entered our room,we were shocked.First of all they dont have windows in the rooms ,the single glass panel open up to the corridor and we had keep the curtains down always for privacy,the sheets and blankets were soiled and the owrst shocker was whenever we entered the bath room there were cockroaches running all around.The bathroom was dirty and water leaking all around.And on the top of that the staff was disinterested and didnt bother when we complained.The KMVN's we had stayed earlier were like heaven with such firendly staffs.
So guys,please be careful when you book this hotel,as I had a very unpleasant experience staying there.
