I was amazed to see that the previous reviews were so old - I ate here in April and the standards were exactly as described - really friendly, helpful people, very relaxed (the owner's granddaughter was napping on the mat in front of me as I ate) and very competitively priced. I challenge you to find anywhere in Udaipur even half as good for the price! I can't comment on the hotel as I wasn't staying there but in the cafe I had the mango curry, which was so good that I went back the next night for the banana curry.... and yes, try the chocolate balls. The meals I had here were the best I ate in India.
