The Lytton Hotel is very close to the Indian Museum and New Market. Its buffet breakfast is good and you can have eggs to order. Try to get a room on the upper floors of the new building as they will be quieter. One of the receptionists, Miss Beryl is one of the nicest persons I have ever dealt with at a hotel. The hotel has good security. Be aware that Sudder Street is a popular backpacker area, so there are lots of beggars about.
