A good choice wnen visiting Mandu

Positives: Friendly, well-run, nice cottages with lake views
Negatives: large families nearby can be noisy sometimes
This is a nice, peaceful place to stay when visiting Mandu. It is about 3km to the center of town. I had room/cottage 118 which has a uninterrupted view of the lake. Rooms 114 and 116 also have good, direct lake views. You can request a table and chairs to use on your patio, along with room service. Tip well, as room service is not normally offered. The room had good a/c, a flat screen TV and a mini-fridge. The power is a bit erratic so it might be best not to order meat in the restaurant, even though the kitchen has its own generator. Otherwise, the food in the restaurant is very good. At the time I was there (Feb. 2009), they were installing a pool. This is a well-run hotel, with good management. It is a restful, clean, safe, friendly place to stay.
