we paid 1000 a night for 2 doubles in the offseason. sept 22,23,24. i get the whole tropical, secluded hut thing. however, i think this place does a pretty bad job. everything just seems so shoddy. the pathways are not groomed at all - you need to duck and weave to get around the grounds. the door to our outside bathroom had to be picked up and slid to the side - how hard is it to put on hinges ? the power went out consistently. the stray dogs all over bark all night. electrical wires are ugly and low hanging. they dont even build a nice path to the beach. its rocky and steep and ungroomed. a caretaker could probably fix this place up in a week. not sure what their problem is. and, they rip you off for everything under the sun. 1400 for a taxi to the airport ? lol. walk into town and get a taxi for 700. im sorry, i think that is just bad business and is characteristic of an apathetic staff.
maybe they get more professional when its in season
