Shanti House is a small family run guest house in the Old City in Bikaner. The atmosphere is very friendly. Although the rooms are quite small, they are beautifully decorated in traditional rajesthani motifs exactly like bikaner fort! The food is vegetarian and you can eat with the family if you like. There is even a roof terrace with views over the old city and a good place to relax and sunbathe. If you want a break from bland tourist hotels and experience family life in the atmospheric old city this is definately the place for you. I stayed 10 days and loved it.
