Very nice and friendly accomodation, the best value for money I had in India. It 's a 2 floors small building in the heart of the town. With bar and family restaurant. Hot shower, sat tv, A/C, fridge. Trishul Salem Rates and Room Information
16 USD (nov. 2007) taxes included for a nice, clean double A/C room, with table, chairs,new toilet and fridge.

I'd like to second the above review. Lovely hotel, almost unbelievable value. Clean almost large room, adequate bathroom, reasonably quiet.
The car they arranged to take us to our next destination charged us local and not tourist rates. The sort of hotel that makes one feel slightly guilty for getting so much for so little.
