Udai Niwas Udaipur
This was a brand new Hotel. Hope still in same condition as last year. Rooms very clean and decorated really nicely. As good as many bedrooms I have seen at home! Internet downstairs and helpful tourist guy. Restaurant upstairs on roof. Tv also there. Good food. Hot shower in room Udai Niwas Udaipur Rates and Room Information

This was a great find for me. I stayed in a horrible hotel the night before and moved here very early in the morning, getting the last room (so they said).
The rooms are a good bargain. Clean, well maintained and brightly painted, and televisions in most of them. I paid RS400/night for my room and that was a good deal. ... read more »

We stayed here in december 2006 when we got the last two rooms available over the new year weekend (probably in the whole of Udaipur). 800 Rs for a very clean and pleasant room. very ice decorations in the rooms and a pleasant staff that cheerfully runs up and dow the stairs the whole day. We only stayed 1 night in the hotel, and later moved to their guesthouse across the alley. We were however still allowed to use the facilities in the hotel.
