Ymca Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
North of town
Large building north of the city centre next to British Library. Big rooms with cable TV and nice bathrooms. No probs with couples renting out the rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's just a touch to far out to walk down into town but an auto fare should be nominal. No real restaurant as such but if you ever go to Trivandrum you really should be eating at the Arya Niwas Hotel restaurant which is in my opinion the best veg restaurant in south India.
